Our role here at TSCF, is to ensure that our core values are being realized, ensuring that all
racialized, marginalized, formerly incarcerated, seniors and children, receive a Second Chance to
thrive and succeed.
To be able to do this, we are reaching out for support. The years 2020 and 2021 has thought us
that we are stronger when we work together, tackling the opportunities and challenges facing us.

As a Nor-For-Profit Organization, we play a key role in:
- Preparing nutritious meals for our community on a weekly basis – starting March, this will be 3 X per week
- Operate a weekly Food Bank in the Scarborough Village Community
- Strengthen women through our “women empowerment program” on hold due to Covid
- Equip and maintain a “Hub” service, where faxing, copying, internet, and computer usage are available to the community
- Provide free donated clothing and care packages to those in need
- Ensure the continuation of our recreational services, once Covid allows us to do so
- Facilitate a safe space for women to meet over tea/coffee, read a book, chat, or just unwind and relax – on hold due to Covid
- Provide on-the-job training via volunteerism at our office, food bank, thrift store, and
- computer training
- While a small portion of our revenue is from earned income, we are in dire need of support to help
- us both in our policy work, and our sustainability of the continuation of our meal and food bank
- program.
- With your monthly help starting from as little as $5.00 per month upwards to the cost of a dinner, you can help us in making a difference in someone’s life; one person at a time. The past two years
- have shown that our work is needed now, more than ever.
