The contemporary world of shopping is a significant part of making us who we are. Consumption transcends and transforms our very identities. At our Thrift Store 100% of the proceeds go toward our charitable programs and services. The Second Chance Foundation’s Thrift Store promotes economic independence of marginalized, racialized and disadvantaged women within and outside of the justice system. Serving the Scarborough, Toronto and GTA, our sustainable and close-the-loop thrift store has clothing, accessories, fine China, books and more. We are thrilled to share this space with you.

At The Second Chance Foundation we believe in reintegration, support, empowerment and education. Upon release from jail or prison, reintegration could be an uneasy next step. The Second Chance Foundation is here to help. Proof of institutional release is supported by a voucher to The Second Chance Foundation’s clothing store. Helping to make a new start, vouchers would vary according to need and family size.
Further clothing, as well as household items could be available to individuals in the surrounding community who are in need due to lack of financial resources. Speak to our administration.
